KIEV, Ukraine — Maidan Square in central Kiev, the scene of the upheaval that overthrew Viktor Yanukovych in February, is the home of Ukraine’s revolutionary imagination.

Dozens of Ukrainian flags fly from the tents scattered across the square and its surrounding streets. Camouflaged men walk among the piles of tires still serving as barricades, keen to draw people’s attention to the numerous shrines displaying photos of the "Heavenly Hundred" — the 100 protesters who died fighting government forces during the revolution. And makeshift stalls have become small pop-up museums, displaying the bullets and shrapnel collected from the fight against Yanukovych. Read more...
