KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) Deputy Convener Kamran Tessori on late Sunday said that he will part his ways with the party if his reservations are not removed. He was taking to media at his residence after meeting Farooq Sattar?s mother who was tasked to persuade him.
During his media talks along with Ali Raza Abidi, he denied the reports of any inks with MQM-London, saying; "Sometimes we are blamed to get associated with London [MQM-London] and sometime, we are grouped with others",
Tessori further said that he and Ali Raza would put forward their reservations to party chief Farooq Sattar for consideration when he returns from Hyderabad, adding that he will announce a plan of future actions after meeting him.
To a question he said that "this is not Ammi 2 episode,? adding that the party leader also underscored that he doesn't believe in bringing mothers into politics.
He also said that* governor of Sindh should be from Urdu* speaking community (Muhajir), warning that if the community is deprived of its basic rights the movement for a separate province can be launched.
Earlier it was reported that Tessori had announced to part his ways with MQM because he felt he was not consulted for important decisions despite holding a senior position in the party.
Tessori also did not travel to Hyderabad with the party leadership to attend the MQM's rally on Sunday.
A gold trader and former PML-F leader, Tessori had joined MQM earlier this year and risen to prominence soon after.
