QUETTA: Ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Saturday* once again criticised* Supreme Court's decision that disqualified him from holding the office of prime minister as he addressed a rally of Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party.

Addressing the rally in the Ayub Stadium on the death anniversary of Abdul Samad Khan Achakzai,father of* Mahmood Khan Achakzai, he asked the organizers to* remove a thick* bullet-proof* glass* as he began his speech from the stage.

"Those who took oaths on PCO are telling me that you are not Sadiq and Ameen," he said.

*He said* he was being singled out in the name of accountability . The PMLN leader said not a single charge of corruption could be proved against him.

Praising* *Abdul Samad Khan Achakzai, he said Mahmood Khan Achakzai was following in the* footsteps of his great father.

The former prime minister said Achakzai was his ideological* *friend, vowing to work* alongside* the PkMAP chief for the rule of law in Pakistan.

Criticizing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan, he said the former cricketer* opposed the* Metro Bus Project in Lahore and now himself* was trying to launch the same project in Peshawar.

*He said Imran Khan is unable to complete the Metro Bus Project in Peshawar.

The former prime minister* announced to launch* Metro Bus in Quetta amid thunderous applause from the crowd.

The Pakistan Muslim League (PMLN) leader was* invited to address the rally by PkMAP chief Mahmood Khan Achakzai, a key ally of the ruling party.


Posters of Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz were* put up in Quetta ahead of the rally.


Achakzai, whose elder brother Muhammad Khan Achakzai is the governor of Balochistan, has stood by the ruling party during all the crises the ruling party has faced since it came into power .*
