ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal said on Thursday that the legal experts had cleared that no changes had been made to Khatam-i-Nabuwwat clause of the Election Act 2017.
Speaking to journalists during his visit to a seminary here, the federal minister said that the legal experts had cleared that no amendment had been made to the Khatam-i-Nabuwwat clause. No one can even think of making changes to the law, he added. We should not get ourselves indulged in issues relating to sectarianism and ethnicity.
Every Muslim can lay down his life over the Khatam-i-Nabuwwat. Our enemy intends to cause damage to the country by spreading chaos, the interior minister maintained.
