ISLAMABAD: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (R) Javed Iqbal on Tuesday sought preliminary report of the inquiry being conducted by NAB Rawalpindi Regional Bureau against alleged corruption, leakage of different question papers and other irregularities in National Testing Service (NTS) as per complaints received by NAB.
The chairman had ordered DG NAB Rawalpindi a month ago to conduct inquiry into NTS affairs.
The complaints included frequent leakage of question papers, alleged corrupt practices and failure to protect interests of students.
The NAB Rawalpindi has also been assigned to probe and identify those responsible for allowing the NTS to conduct various examinations despite the presence of Provincial and Federal Public Service Commissions.
NAB Rawalpindi has also been assigned to probe reasons of NTS?s failure in devising a foolproof, transparent and merit based examination
