Business travelers have found a new way to make valuable connections thanks to KLM Royal Dutch Airline's social seating service Meet & Seat (http://www.klm.com/travel/gb_en/prepare_for_travel/on_board/your_seat_on_board/meet_and_seat.htm), which was launched in 2012 to introduce passengers with similar interests via social media. Over the past two years the company has found that approximately half of those customers are using it for professional networking, according to a KLM spokesperson.
