CBS fires Charlie Rose following sexual misconduct allegations

CBS News has officially cut ties with longtime television host Charlie Rose after The Washington Post reported (https://www.washingtonpost.com/investigations/eight-women-say-charlie-rose-sexually-harassed-them--with-nudity-groping-and-lewd-calls/2017/11/20/9b168de8-caec-11e7-8321-481fd63f174d_story.html?utm_term=.34aba561cfb6) eight women accused him of sexual misconduct.
Following the news on Monday the network suspended the host, but on Tuesday afternoon CBS News announced via Twitter that Rose had been fired as a result of the allegations.
