The Rufus Cuff (http://rufuslabs.com/) claims to be a step above the smartwatch (http://mashable.com/category/smart-watch/?utm_campaign=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial&utm_cid=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial&utm_medium=feed&utm_source=rss) because it offers users a connected experience similar to one they would get on a smartphone (http://mashable.com/category/smartphone/?utm_campaign=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial&utm_cid=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial&utm_medium=feed&utm_source=rss).
