There were plenty of casualties in Thor: Ragnarok (sure, a whole planet exploded and Odin disappeared into a cloud of sparkles, but we're mostly still pissed about the deaths of the Warriors Three (http://mashable.com/2017/11/06/thor-ragnarok-sif-warriors-three-dead-spoilers/)), but of all the losses our mighty hero suffered in his latest MCU outing, clearly nothing was more painful than the destruction of his beloved hammer, Mjolnir.*
