It's not just you: iOS 11 isn't as popular as previous updates.
People are updating to iOS 11 at a slower rate compared to other recent updates, according to new stats released by Apple.

Just 52 percent of devices have made the upgrade as of Nov. 6, according to Apple's developer website (https://developer.apple.com/support/app-store/). While not a bad start by any means (and still significantly better than Android), it's down from previous updates.
By comparison, last year's iOS 10 update was at 60 percent (http://mashable.com/2016/10/27/apple-ios-10-60-percent/) by the end of October, following a September release.
