Some websites running SSL encryption (http://mashable.com/category/ssl/?utm_campaign=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial&utm_cid=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial&utm_medium=feed&utm_source=rss) were exposed to a major security bug called Heartbleed on Monday

The bug was reportedly discovered by a member of Google's security team and an organization called Code**micon (http://www.code**micon.com/)
