Gamers are petitioning IKEA for a proper tabletop

Tabletop gaming is an expensive hobby. Having the perfect convertible table for it can be either a huge DIY undertaking or very expensive.
To alleviate these woes, tabletop gamers have taken to Change.org to petition IKEA (https://www.change.org/p/ikea-beg-ikea-to-make-an-affordable-tabletop-gaming-table) to manufacture a grid-covered table made specifically for tabletop gaming that can also be converted into a regular dining table. At the time of reporting, over 23,600 people have signed it.

The petition, titled "Beg IKEA to make an affordable tabletop gaming table," was started by Maryland's Brad Smoley, who just wants a table he can buy to eat and game on.
