Music festival shutdown after it turned into a mud-slinging disaster

If there's one single thing you're definitely going to get at British summer festivals is a whole lot of rain & mud.*

But apparently that's the one thing organisers of Y **t festival in Derbyshire failed to take into consideration.*
The festival was called off over safety concerns following heavy rain and after many acts — including headliners The Vaccines — had already been forced to cancel due to dangerous conditions.*
With a statement on the festival website (http://www.y**tfestivals.co.uk/), organisers said they had to take "the difficult decision" due to adverse weather conditions over the weekend.* Read more...
