Samsung’s ‘Next Big Thing’ ads really got under Apple’s skin
In addition to becoming viral on the web, Samsung’s “Next Big Thing” ads that make fun of Apple's products (http://bgr.com/2012/09/19/samsung-iphone-5-attack-ad-video/) and its customers*apparently had a second important effect – they really bothered the iPhone maker. During the second day of the second Apple (http://bgr.com/apple/) vs Samsung (http://bgr.com/tag/samsung/) trial in the U.S., Samsung’s attorney John Quinn revealed that the ad campaign that mocked Apple in**vation did **t go un**ticed in*Cuperti**, The Verge reports (http://www.theverge.com/2014/4/1/5571738/samsung-our-next-big-thing-ads-drove-apples-marketing-chief-crazy), driving Apple's marketing department “crazy.”
