Marvel kicked off its San Diego Comic-Con panel with some typically awesome news — Michelle Pfeiffer has been tapped to play Janet van Dyne, the first Wasp and mother of Janet van Dyne.
"She was our dream choice when making the first film," Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige admitted during the panel, expressing his disbelief that they actually managed to cast the former Catwoman.
The news was an**unced via an adorable video hosted by Ant-Man stars Paul Rudd and Michael Peña, which recapped the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe up to this point — with plenty of snark from Rudd and Peña about their rivals (at one point, recapping The Avengers, they referred to Hawkeye as Alan Alda).* Read more...
