In response to reports claiming she wasn't actually a part of Swift's squad after comments she made during a Sunrise (http://mashable.com/2017/07/07/lorde-taylor-swift-squad/) interview, Lorde released a statement on Twitter later in the day, clarifying her answers and setting the record straight about her and Taylor's friendship.
