He said the decision of the prime minister to set up gas power plants is an ho**ur for the PML-N and a**ther feather in the cap of Nawaz Sharif.
People of Pakistan will never forget this decision of transforming darkness into lights, promotion of agriculture, running of industry, jobs creation as well as ensuring development and prosperity in the country. On one hand, there is hue and cry about Panama Leaks while on the other, there is solid work of prime minister to bring the nation from darkness towards lights and the nation will always remember it, he added.
Shahbaz said Panama is only fiction and strict accountability is needed to take country forward. The Panama fiction is worth $4 million while as much as Rs168 billion have been saved under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif of the poor people in three gas-based power plants having capacity of 3600-megawatt. This achievement of prime minister will be remembered forever and the nation will keep in mind that there was a prime minister who transformed darkness spending over 20 years into lights and made Pakistan eco**mically a viable state. He said we tremendously respect the Supreme Court and its every verdict is worth reverence. The chief minister said he challenges that never ever an amount of Rs168 billion of the nation was saved rather projects were delayed in the past.
On one side there is a sincere leader who saved billions of rupees of this poor nation and on the other there are looters who plundered in the name of Neelum-Jhelum, Nandipur and Rental Power and committed dacoity of billions and trillions of rupees in NICL and banks.
The nations are **t made this way rather the concepts of Iqbal and Jinnah would have to be followed to move this nation forward. If we have to move Pakistan ahead then we will have to hold strict accountability of everyone. The Pakistani nation will always remember the great achievement of transformation of 20 years darkness into lights by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

He said the persons and institutions responsible for this illegal process should have been held accountable and responsible and sent to jail.
He said machinery of Nandipur project rusted for three years at the Karachi port, machinery and tools of plant were stolen and have to be imported again from China. He said this project was ruined due to corruption of former rulers and 15 to 18 billion more rupees of the poor nation have to be spent on this project, he added. Shahbaz said that commission of Supreme Court gave decision regarding the projects that dacoity has been committed in it. He said that court, by naming a person advising these days on television, had said he has committed dacoity in this project. He said this person should be held accountable but he has joined “Ihtisaab Party”. He said Federal Minister for Water and Power Kh Asif, Federal Minister for Petroleum Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and their teams played a laudable role in timely and in a record period completion of these projects.
