Uh-oh. Apple's upcoming iPhone 8 may **t have that under-the-display fingerprint scanner after all; instead, it may rely on 3D face scanning for unlocking the display.
The news comes via two new reports; Bloomberg and KGI Securities, whose Ming-Chi Kuo says the OLED-based iPhone 8 — that's the big-screened one that we're all waiting for — probably won't have fingerprint recognition (https://www.streetinsider.com/Analyst+Comments/KGIs+Kuo+Lists+10+Predictions+for+the+New+Apple+%2 8AAPL%29+iPhone/13065605.html) at all.*
