'True Detective' Season 3 could star Mahershala Ali and suddenly we're interested again

Oscar winner and professional scene-stealer Mahershala Ali has single-handedly renewed our interest in True Detective Season 3.
The Moonlight star is currently in early talks to star in the third season of HBO's anthology crime drama, Mashable has confirmed, although a deal is **t yet in place. HBO declined to comment on Ali's potential involvement, which was first reported by the Tracking Board (http://www.tracking-board.com/mahershala-ali-to-star-in-true-detective-season-3-exclusive/).
