In a statement, US Corporate Public Relations Manager Mona Liss cleared up some confusion. "Ikea is **t selling products on Amazon or any third party sites at this time. Any Ikea product on Amazon **w is being sold by a reseller. Ikea has ** relationship with them. Currently Ikea is only exploring other online platforms," she said.
There are some pros and cons to buying the existing Ikea products on Amazon. As you might **tice, most of the items are listed for higher prices on Amazon than on the Ikea website. Some items just aren't worth it: for example, the Alex Drawer Unit (http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/10192824/) is priced at $79 by Ikea and $155 on Amazon.
