Most of us have watched Demi Lovato blossom from her days on Barney & Friends (https://www.popsugar.com/latina/Demi-Lovato-Throwback-Instagram-Photo-June-2017-43609273), through her Camp Rock stardom, and most recently, her career as a solo artist, but Demi just explained why she wished she didn't start her career at such a young age. Earlier this week in Cannes, the 24-year-old singer told Susan Daniels, YouTube's vice president of originals, that if she could do it over again, she would **t have started acting at 7 years old.
"I wouldn't start out that young if I could do it over again," she said. "I don't regret anything. It was difficult to transition from a child star to transforming into a mainstream artist. It's something that is very challenging."

I don't k**w what I want the next five years to look like. I'm still figuring that out. I love music, I want to make music and tour. I want to dive back into acting at some point."
