When serious questions first began to emerge about Uber's culture, Liane Hornsey didn't see a problem.*

The chief of human resources for the company, the person who is supposed to be the top representative for Uber employees, just wasn't worried, and she didn't see what former Uber engineer Susan Fowler (http://mashable.com/2017/02/19/susan-fowler-***ism-uber/) described in her viral blog post back in February.*

"(Fowler’s) blog shocked me,” Hornsey told USA Today (https://www.usatoday.com/story/tech/news/2017/05/25/ubers-biggest-employee-problems-pay-and-pride-**t-***ism-says-hr-boss/102075284/) in May. “But, what did surprise me, was when I did the listening sessions, this didn’t come up as an issue. It wasn’t one of our big themes.
