In a rare public rebuke, Apple CEO Tim Cook (http://mashable.com/category/tim-cook/?utm_medium=feed&utm_source=rss) has made a statement that slams the new book Haunted Empire (http://www.harpercollins.com/books/Haunted-Empire-Yukari-Iwatani-Kane/) by former Wall Street Journal reporter Yukari Iwatani Kane
The statement (http://video.cnbc.com/gallery/?video=3000258828) was obtained by CNBC's Becky Quick, who asked Cook for a reaction to the new book, which characterizes him as tough, unapproachable and "relentlessly frugal."
