Within a month of Netflix releasing Sense8 Season 2 with minimal fanfare or marketing, the ****** beloved for LGBTQ+ (http://www.pride.com/sense8/2016/5/17/8-reasons-sense8-best-show-lgbt-representation) and racial diversity was unceremoniously cancelled.
The loyal fandom was instantly up in arms, circulating the hashtags #RenewSense8 (https://twitter.com/hashtag/RenewSense8?src=hash) and #BringBackSense8 (https://twitter.com/hashtag/BringBackSense8?src=hash) and launching multiple (https://www.change.org/p/netflix-bring-back-sense8) petitions (https://www.change.org/p/netflixlat-netflix-sense8-sense-8-season-3-renewal) for Netflix to give the show a**ther chance. (A friend even asked me to "use my powers" and help out, which means he either fundamentally misunderstands my job or thinks I myself am a sensate.)
