A huge international team of scientists have just an**unced the discovery of yet a**ther gravitational wave signal sent out by the violent collision of two black holes circling each other 3 billion light-years away and felt on Earth on Jan. 4.

By using the Laser Interferometer Gravitational-wave Observatory (LIGO), scientists were able to observe the gravitational waves (http://mashable.com/2016/02/11/einstein-gravitational-waves-detection/) — literal ripples in the fabric of space and time — as they passed through Earth, and all of us, marking just the third time we've seen evidence of these invisible waves in space.*
