RAWALPINDI: Four more hardcore terrorists, guilty of committing hei**us offences relating to terrorism, including killing of in**cent civilians, destruction of educational institutions, attacking armed forces and law- enforcement agencies personnel were executed Wednesday at a jail of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations, all these convicts belonging to the banned TTP were tried by military courts and were awarded death sentences. Ahmed Ali s/o Bakht Karam was an active member of the TTP. He was guilty of attacking armed forces, law enforcement agencies personnel and
destruction of an educational institution which resulted in death and injuries to soldiers and civilians. He was also in possession of firearms and explosives and admitted offences before a magistrate and the trial court. He was awarded death sentence.
Asghar Khan s/o Azizur Rehman was an active member of the TTP and was involved in attacking armed forces, law enforcement agencies personnel and destruction of educational institution which resulted in death and injuries to soldiers. He was also in possession of firearms and explosives. The convict admitted his offences before a magistrate and the trial court. He was awarded death sentence.
Haroon-ur-Rasheed s/o Mian Said Usman was an active member of the TTP and was involved in attacking armed forces, law-enforcement agencies personnel and destruction of an educational institution which resulted in death and injuries to soldiers and civilians. He was also in possession of firearms and explosives.
The convict admitted his offences before a magistrate and the trial court. He was awarded death sentence. Gul Rehman s/o Zareen was an active member of the TTP.
