https://www.thenews.com.pk/assets/uploads/updates/2017-05-09/l_203431_083805_updates.gif RAWALPINDI: Security forces on Tuesday recovered anti-tank mines, suicide jackets, IEDs and explosive cylinder during intelligence–based operations conducted in the Khyber and South Waziristan agencies.
According to an ISPR statement, these operations were conducted under the ongoing Operation Raddul Fasaad.
During these operations, a large quantity of arms & ammunition of various caliber including SMGs, pistols,12.7 & 14.5 mm and rockets were also recovered from an abandoned terrorist compound in Village Lalejai and Weshtonai area of South Waziristan agency.
Meanwhile, Rangers, police and intelligence agencies conducted joint operations in various cities of Punjab and arrested several suspects. They also recovered arms and ammunition from the suspects during these operations in Lahore, Attock, Islamabad, Sialkot, Narowal, Shiekhupura, DG Khan, Rahimyar Khan and Rajanpur.
