Citizens have complained that while the summer has just set in and the heat is fairly bearable, the 14-hour loadshedding has disturbed daily life. Since the amenities of life are directly or indirectly conditional on the availability of electricity, loadshedding has badly hampered life's activities.
While big cities like Lahore, Faisalabad, Sialkot and Rawalpindi are bearing the brunt of power shortages, smaller cities like Nankana, Gujrat, Sheikhupura, Sargodha and Okara are facing even worse condition. The unan**unced and unscheduled power outages have upset daily routines.
