He said that ** one would be allowed to amend the blasphemy law by citing tragic incidents in this connection. He said the assemblies should **t be dissolved and the sitting government must be allowed to complete its five-year tenure.

He stated this while addressing a meeting of the Central Advisory Council of JUI-F and later talking to media persons in Peshawar on Sunday. Fazl condemned the aggression of Afghan forces in Chaman and appreciated the retaliatory action of the Pakistan Army.

During the Advisory Council meeting, the political situation also came under discussion. Fazl was of the view that if the assemblies were **t dissolved and general election was held as per schedule, it will strengthen democracy in the country.

He said that for alliance of religious parties in the next general elections, a committee has been constituted, which would review the situation and will submit its recommendations. He hailed Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Sirajul Haq for his stance on assembling religious parties on a single platform and said it would have been much better if he (Siraj) had realised this fact in 2013 before the previous general elections.

The JUI-F chief said that ** decision can be imposed on the people of Fata without their consensus. “We demand the right to self determination for Kashmiri people but hesitate to give the same right to tribal people,” he added.

He said a committee under the chairmanship of Deputy Chairman Senate Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri has been constituted to forge an alliance for the coming elections. Provincial Ameer Maulana Gul Naseeb Khan, Rashid Somro, Mufti Abdul Shakoor, and Sikandar Khan, Advocate, will be part of the committee. He said the committee has been given the task to meet all the parties for alliance, religious or political.
