Riaz appointed interim SBP gover**r

ISLAMABAD: Riaz Riazuddin was on Monday appointed as the Gover**r of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP). Riaz holds the position of interim SBP chief after his predecessor Ashraf Mehmood Wathra’s term ended. Ashraf Wathra was appointed as the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) gover**r with effect from April 29, 2014, for a period of three years. Prior to assuming charge as the gover**r, Riaz has been serving as the deputy gover**r of the bank.
