Uber and 'The Circle' have nearly identical logos and everyone **ticed

Well, this is awkward.
When The Circle — the 2017 James Ponsoldt film based on Dave Eggers’ dystopian **vel — hit theaters, it was emblazoned with a bright red circle (we see what you did there) logo. The only thing is, well, that logo looks incredibly similar to Uber's circular logo.
Uber — you k**w, the real company — debuted its circle logo in 2016. According to Wired, it was inspired by a blog post (https://newsroom.uber.com/bits-atoms-2/) Travis Kalanick wrote, describing the company's culture as "the combination of bits and atoms. Bits represented the machine efficiency involved in Uber’s mapping and dis***** software. The atoms represented people." Read more...
