12-year-old stopped by police while trying to drive across Australia

Of all places, driving across Australia isn't something you'd do on a whim.
Yet it was the plan for one kid, who was stopped by police after driving 1,200 kilometres (745 miles) from the country's east coast.*

"Checks revealed the driver to be a 12-year-old boy travelling from Kendall, NSW, on his way to Perth," New South Wales Police said in a statement, via ABC News (http://www.abc.net.au/news/2017-04-23/police-arrest-12yo-trying-to-drive-across-australia/8465432). But it seemingly wasn't bad driving that caught the eye of authorities.
The boy was only pulled over after they **ticed the car's bumper was dragging along the road on the Barrier Highway, located in the far-west of the state of New South Wales.
