"Okay Google, what is the Whopper burger?"

Burger King decided to run (http://mashable.com/2017/04/12/google-home-burger-king-whopper-ad/?utm_campaign=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial&utm_cid=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial) a 15-second TV ad that posed that question, which would then remotely trigger peoples' Google Homes (http://mashable.com/2016/11/03/google-home-review/?utm_campaign=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial&utm_cid=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial) to read out loud an edited Wikipedia entry describing what's inside of a Whopper.

Needless to say, Google Home users were pissed at the invasiveness of the marketing stunt, and Google moved quickly to block the phrase. But did Burger King really screw up big time and cross the line, or should we expect more brands to start "hijacking" our smart speakers (3:04)?*
