A Japanese taxi company, Miyako Taxi, is **w trialing a "silent taxi" service where drivers don't talk to you at all, according to RocketNews24 (http://en.rocketnews24.com/2017/04/07/kyoto-taxi-operator-starts-silence-taxi-service-prohibits-drivers-from-instigating-small-talk/).
The taxis look like any other — except for a **tice pasted in the car, informing customers it's a silent one:
