When POPSUGAR and a group of reporters caught up with Mendes in the show's WonderCon (https://www.popsugar.com/latest/Wondercon-2017) press room, the actress promised that there are more references to her character's Latina background coming soon.
"I do speak more Spanish, and it's a **d to the comics as well, what I say," Mendes told press outlets. That means that, for those bilingual Riverdale fans, there's a whole other side to the story to gain. As if we needed a**ther reason to love the ******!
