The reporter had reportedly asked a question during Imran Khan's press conference regarding alleged land grabbing by Aleem Khan.
The journalists bodies and State Minister for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb condemned Aleem Khan for what they said manhandling of a media person.
Imran Khan had left the scene before the Aleem Khan went on to hurl allegations against the reporter and tried to beat him up.
