Lots of people do **t like alt-right leader Richard Spencer. One of them just took that dislike to a violent extreme, by punching Spencer in the face, on camera.
Spencer is a white nationalist who rose to fame via a viral video of a speech he ended with a Nazi salute (http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2016/11/richard-spencer-speech-npi/508379/), calling for his audience to "hail Trump." He's also called for a "peaceful ethnic cleansing" of the United States—which he wants to turn into an "eth**-state" for people of European descent—and has since become something of a celebrity among the alt-right.*
