Although the movie has yet to hit cinemas Vin has confirmed Paramount is already interesting in bringing back the cast, including Samuel L. Jackson and newcomers Ruby Rose and Donnie Yen, to film a**ther sequel. “Well, it’s funny,” Vin told Variety. “I was in the middle of an interview and Brad Grey - who runs Paramount - calls me and says, ‘Will everybody come back to work in May?’ I’m like – everyone’s in interviews right **w!” In the latest feature Xander, who was believed to be dead, breaks out of self-imposed exile to hunt for a dangerous ****** k**wn as Pandora’s Box. Vin also acts as producer on this project and was thrilled to work alongside such a diverse cast, in locations such as Australia, India and China. “I wanted to go out of the confines of Hollywood - go into foreign film markets - and pulled out their celebrated, respected heroes,” Vin smiled. “Although we come from all over the world, when you see us together, you see harmony.” The feature is full of plenty of stunts, the majority of which the actors themselves performed. Asked by Britain’s Daily Star newspaper if he felt like James Bond during the action-packed moves, Vin insisted he felt even “cooler”. “The whole opening scene was truly extreme,” he added. “But the hardest thing was to swim in the turbulent ocean with all my clothes and boots and jewellery on.” xXx: Return of Xander Cage drops in cinemas later this month (Jan17).
