The U.S. Department of Transportation has informed airlines that they ** longer need to **tify passengers about the Galaxy **te7 (http://mashable.com/category/galaxy-**te-7/?utm_campaign=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial&utm_cid=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial) before boarding, although the devices will remain banned on board. It remains to be seen how long airlines will take to enact the change.*
