Proposal to force UK firms to list foreign workers causes controversy

Theresa May's government has unveiled controversial plans to make companies reveal how many foreign workers they employ in a bid to boost jobs for British people after Brexit.

The proposals, an**unced by Home Secretary Amber Rudd, means firms could be forced (http://www.thetimes.co.uk/edition/news/firms-must-list-foreign-workers-gw20ndp5x?CMP=Spklr-_-Editorial-_-TWITTER-_-thetimes-_-20161005-_-News-_-Politics-_-608489761&linkId=29544962) to list their percentage of **n-British workers in order to “prevent migrants taking jobs [that] British people can do.”
Rudd said businesses were "getting away" with **t training e**ugh British workers.
