Beloved neighborhood cat and social media sensation, Tombili, has been forever immortalized by the adoring residents of Istanbul's Ziverbey neighborhood.
Made famous by a popularly meme'd photo (https://www.facebook.com/tombilikedi/photos/a.194301480984380.1073741828.194254077655787/194301447651050/?type=3) portraying his signature lounging pose, Tombili passed away this past August. The city decided to ho**r their feline star by erecting a statue in his likeness.
