Slack is actually an acronym

The name of one of the world's fastest growing messaging apps appeared pretty self-explanatory. "Slack" seemed like a simple **d to what you shouldn't be doing at work.*

Turns out it was actually an acronym. It stands for Searchable Log of All Communication and K**wledge.*
In response to a Twitter inquiry last night, the co-founder and CEO of Slack, Steward Butterfield, explained that Slack came about as a better alternative to linefeed, the original codename for the **w multibillion-dollar company.*
