BlackBerry is back at it again with a mediocre phone

I have so many mixed feelings about BlackBerry’s DTEK50 (http://mashable.com/2016/07/26/blackberry-dtek50-news/?utm_campaign=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial&utm_cid=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial), a $300 Android-powered phone.*
I’m disappointed the company went with a “reference” design from a manufacturing partner for the hardware, while at the same time excited to use a device that marries Android with BlackBerry’s software suite.
SEE ALSO: Kim Kardashian should just buy BlackBerry (http://mashable.com/2016/08/06/kim-kardashian-blackberry-mashtalk/?utm_campaign=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial&utm_cid=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial)
As a former diehard BlackBerry user, it’s hard **t to root for BlackBerry to strike it hot with its move over to Android (http://mashable.com/2015/11/06/blackberry-priv-review/#E3SmKVjAaaq3?utm_campaign=&utm_context=textlink&utm_medium=rss&utm_source=). Unfortunately, a recycled hardware design fails to rekindle my excitement for all things BlackBerry.*
Unboxing the BlackBerry DTEK50 for review on @Mashable in the near future. (https://www.instagram.com/p/BJbLCKSAZkN/)
