Islamabad: Justice Aamer Farooq of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) here on Thursday through a short order dismissed appeals of several guesthouses, restaurants, boutiques, beauty-parlours, think tanks and other institutes that had filed petitions against the Capital Development Authority (CDA) **tices asking them to stop business activities in the residential areas as it falls under **n-conforming use of buildings. The IHC bench had reserved this judgment on September 21 and on Thursday a short order was an**unced. Detailed order is likely to be an**unced today (Friday). More than 70 properties in the federal capital have challenged the CDA **tices asking them to stop **n-conforming use of residential properties.
