KANPUR: India were 291 for nine at stumps on the opening day of the first Test against New Zealand in Kanpur on Thursday.
Ravindra Jadeja was on 16 and Umesh Yadav on eight for India, while New Zealand´s Mitchell Santner and Trent Boult have claimed three wickets each.
