Kashmir situation warrants global attention, say Hurriyet leaders

SRINAGAR: In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyet leaders have said that prevailing situation in the territory warrants attention of the international community to avert any catastrophe in the South Asian region. The Hurriyet leaders in their joint statement in Srinagar said, “It is the moral responsibility of the United Nations to send a fact-finding mission to Jammu and Kashmir to analyze the situation.” The statement said that India could **t muzzle the voice of the Kashmiri people by subjecting the civilians to brute force in the territory.
