KARACHI: MQM London is mulling ways to respond to sacking of senior party leaders from Rabita Committee by MQM Pakistan leader Farooq Sattar and a reaction is expected anytime today.
MQM Pakistan held a meeting on Tuesday under the leadership of Farooq Sattar, which was attended by all the members of Rabita Committee. It was decided to revoke the membership of senior party leaders present in London.
Deputy Convener MQM London Nadeem Nusrat and workers Wasay Jalil, Mustafa Azizabadi and Qasim Ali Raza were sacked from the Rabita Committee.
The meeting also decided that any member who would go against the policy guidelines, promulgated on August 23, 2016, will be sacked from the Rabita Committee.
The Pakistan leadership said that Nadeem Nusrat’s statement must **t be considered as the MQM Pakistan’s statement.
Earlier, Nadeem Nusrat said that the MQM founder gave an identity to the Muhajir community and the MQM was **thing without him. He also said that ** one could separate the MQM founder and the Muhajir community.
He further added that the London leadership of the MQM rejected the minus-one formula proposed by the party leadership, led by Dr Farooq Sattar in Pakistan.
