NEW YORK: President of Azad Kashmir, Masood Khan, said on Wednesday that Pakistan was a strong nuclear state and that any adventurism from India would result in its own failure.
Speaking exclusively to Geo News, President of Azad Kashmir Masood Khan said that India has always tried to threaten Pakistan, which has always backfired. He said that till this day, Kashmir is rife with slogans of independence.
"Pakistan is a strong nuclear state. If India even thinks about any adventurism, it will result in its own failure," he said.
Masood Khan said that the Pakistani nation and its army were fully capable of meeting any challenge. He said that the issue of Kashmir can**t be resolved through war hence diplomatic efforts were the only way resolution could be reached. Masood Khan said that the global community's efforts in resolving the Kashmir issue were weak.
Masood Khan said that the global community should play a more active role in solving the Kashmir crisis as violations of human rights were taking place in occupied Kashmir, where the situation was worsening day by day.
Masood Khan said that the issue of Kashmir was **t only the concern of India and Pakistan but that there were three parties to it; India, Pakistan and Kashmiris.
