LHC calls NAB prosecutor general

LAHORE: A division bench of the Lahore High Court on Tuesday directed the NAB prosecutor general to appear before the court over a petition against the bureau for failing to launch investigations into offshore companies owned by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family. The bench led by Justice Mirza Waqas Rauf was hearing the petition of a local journalist. The court also issued **tices to the Election Commission of Pakistan and the Federal Board of Revenue for October 5.
