Eight gamblers held

LALAMUSA: Sadr police on Monday arrested eight alleged gamblers at Sadiqabad village.
The police, on a tip-off, raided the village and arrested the alleged gamblers Riaz, Ismail, Abid, Rizwan, Shahbaz, Nadeem, Ibrar and Arif with Rs 23,400 stake money. The police also recovered 1,325 gram heroin from Arif, one of the alleged gamblers.
